                                 Welkom at the HI6SIM site.

The development of a cheap diy 6 DOF moving platform for a soaring flighttsim                                                                                                                   designed   by:  Douwe Jippes
                                                                                                                                                 d.jippes@hccnet.nl
The simulator is located at the  FRIESE EARO CLUB   te Leeuwarden.

Due to the fact a glider pilot is very sensitive to movement a 6 dof(Directon Of Fridom) platform is inevitable.

For all the pictures involved see the index on the left. (pointers to Mijnalbum.nl, YouTube, FSWeekends)

Cheap due to the use of motors from old household vacuum cleaners (MKIII)
(brand: Mile are the best).
For MKIV we use motors from defect Hooverbourd's and old timing belt from car engines.

MK I). Driving a threaded rod M12 with a brons nut on it in central heating pipe.
MK II). Driving a RVS threaded rod M10 with brons nut on it in bicycle frame parts.
MK III). Driving a RVS threaded rod M10 with a bronze bus in a Nylatron block supported by RVS 8mm tube.
MK III (Current)). Primative closed cabin, Digital input from "BFF 6dof pgm" input from FS "Condor", ForceFeedBack.
MK IV). Think----think....(some materials/ parts), Demo leg video, PMSM most efficient motors (Hooverboards motors).
